Nearly all the fruit comes from the Golden Terraces Vineyard with 3% from the Woolshed Vineyard, harvested over a ten-day period. Gently de-stemmed, the grapes are cold soaked followed by a short ferment and pressing, the wine is matured in a mixture of tank and barrel for about nine months. Bramble fruit, cherry, spice and a hint of smoke on the nose, black cherry and plum on the palate supported by oak spice, soft tannins and a bright, refreshing finish.
